SBH is proud to welcome you to The Academy. The Academy is a resource that promotes education, consultation, counseling, and life coaching services throughout the community. The following are some of the services available through The Academy:

Therapists at The Academy provide individual and family counseling to children and adults. All affiliates are fully trained clinicians with specific specialties such as substance abuse treatment, parenting skills, depression/anxiety, and relationship issues.  Mental Health First Aid is an exciting new course which we have adapted from a widely used program in Australia. Taking this 12 hour course allows a person to be certified to recognize and help in a mental health crisis, much like CPR and first aid certification.  Professional CEU courses are recognized by a number of credentialing boards and are available both online and live. New courses are in constant development.  Professional Internships in a wide variety of behavioral healthcare settings are available for students seeking Bachelor, Master, and PhD degrees.
